NPSLT: Our Second Year in Review!

This year has flown by! I can’t quite believe that it was almost a year and a half ago that we won the ASLTIP Start-Up Award and two years since we launched NPSLT!

This year has been equally as fulfilling as we continue to support lots of lovely families, both existing and new.

In January, we welcomed our lovely SLT, Steph, to the team!

In our second year we have also:

Supported around 60 children and their families, including working with six Case Managers, a range of professionals, and completing work through Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for Norfolk and Suffolk.

Provided online therapy and support to a family all the way over in Denmark!

Completed multidisciplinary sessions with other professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists and Physiotherapists.

Provided training sessions on a range of topics to schools and nurseries, including Gestalt Language Processing, typical development of communication, VERVE and Colourful Semantics.

Attended a number of training courses, including PROMPT training for Carissa, and Child-Led Therapy Study Day for Steph.

Completed another free drop-in session, this time over on the North Norfolk coast, where we now complete a number of sessions in local schools and homes.

Celebrated a further 16 amazing 5* Google Reviews, bringing us to a total of 33!
