A detailed individual assessment, tailored to the individual to gain insight into their speech, language and communication needs. Following assessment, a report will be written to detail the findings of the assessment and to provide recommendations. The report will be discussed with the referrer, providing an opportunity to answer questions and discuss next-steps.

Sometimes, only a brief consultation and report is required. This may be the case if your child has already had a recent assessment by another SLT. It is still important for us to meet with you before commencing therapy.

If the therapist feels that a more detailed assessment package is required, this will be discussed with you.

POA - based on a rate of £85 per hour

Sometimes, more in depth assessment, report and recommendations are required, such as for case managed patients, where there may be a greater amount of documentation and liaison. These assessment packages will be calculated on a case-by-case basis.

Individual therapy will be carried out in the home or educational setting.

In some cases, therapy may be offered in a clinc setting.

All other services, including attending meetings, liaising with other professionals, update reports, etc, will be charged pro rata at the hourly rate.

POA

NPSLT can provide bespoke training packages to educational settings, day services, parents/carers and other professionals.

There may be a travel cost associated with services. This will be discussed with you prior to commencement of any intervention.

Where possible, travel costs will be shared among patients in a geographically close location.
